Welcome to Horizon Energy. These Terms of Service govern your use of our energy supply services. By enrolling with Horizon Energy, you agree to these terms.

Service Description

Horizon Energy is a retail energy supplier. We supply electricity to your home or business, while your local utility company continues to deliver the power and maintain the infrastructure. Switching to Horizon Energy does not affect your power reliability or require any equipment installation.

Customer Eligibility

Our services are available to residential and commercial customers in deregulated energy markets where we are licensed to operate. You must have an active utility account in good standing to enroll. We reserve the right to verify eligibility before enrollment.

Pricing and Billing

Your rate is determined by the plan you select at enrollment. Fixed-rate plans lock in your supply rate for the contract term. Variable-rate plans may fluctuate monthly based on market conditions. Your local utility will continue to bill you, with our supply charges appearing on your existing utility bill.

Contract Term and Cancellation

Contract terms vary by plan and are disclosed at enrollment. You may cancel at any time without penalty if you are on a variable-rate plan. Fixed-rate plans may have early termination fees as disclosed in your enrollment agreement. Service typically ends within 1-2 billing cycles after cancellation.

Limitation of Liability

Horizon Energy is not responsible for power outages, delivery issues, or infrastructure problems, as these remain the responsibility of your local utility. Our liability is limited to the supply charges paid under your agreement. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Regulatory Compliance

Horizon Energy operates in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations governing retail energy supply. We are licensed by the appropriate public utility commissions in each state where we operate.
